The Hakko FR-801 is one of the new generations of SMD rework systems for soldering and desoldering SMDs. The unique air stream outlet design allows for consistent temperatures of the hot air stream generated by the unit.

The FR-801 also features:

  • Easy-to-read variable airflow meter
  • Automatic cool-down automatically engages when stop button pressed
  • Compact design uses less work area than previous models
  • ESD safe by design
  • Diaphragm pump
  • 30W station power consumption, 400W hand piece power consumption
  • Control temperature from 212 to 788°F
  • Does not include nozzles
