Amplifier features stereo line-level as well as LFE input, variable low-pass crossover, full parametric EQ, and auto on/off. Also available fully assembled.
Dimensions: 19-1/8" W x 19-1/8" H x 19-3/8" D.
Dayton Audio designed the Titanic Mk 4 subwoofer kits to give you the performance you demand, at a price that makes plain common sense. Why buy a mass-market subwoofer that often has a markup of well over 10 times the cost of the parts? If you are lucky, you are getting a $20 woofer and a $20 amplifier. With the Titanic subwoofer kits, you know exactly what you are getting—nothing but the best in cabinets, drivers, and amplifiers.
Each system features a legendary Dayton Audio Titanic Mk 4 subwoofer drivers: USA-built behemoths known for their excellent build quality and awesome low frequency performance. The driver is precisely mated with a high-power Dayton Audio HPSA1000 1,000-watt amplifier that exploits the woofer's massive potential and provides the best sound quality and highest output levels.
Driver and amp are housed in a rigid, acoustically inert 3/4" MDF enclosure featuring an internal brace, a special satin-textured enamel finish, 1/4" roundovers on all edges, and a 1" thick MDF grill. Black chrome spikes, included with the system, rigidly couple the cabinet to the floor for improved bass clarity and output, while also adding a very classy and elegant touch. The finished systems are unobtrusive in appearance, but deliver awesome bass performance that is truly "titanic" in proportion.
Titanic systems are available in an easily assembled kit form that requires a few basic hand tools and approximately one hour to complete. A subwoofer driver, amplifier, and custom cabinet are included, along with instructions and all necessary hardware. The cabinet itself is ready-to-go because the hard work has already been done: driver cutout, amplifier cutout, pre-installed T-nuts for driver mounting, and pre-installed T-nuts for the floor spikes.
